Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Congress and Samajwadi Party have formed an alliance in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. At the same time, Jayant Chaudhary and OP Rajbhar, who left Akhilesh Yadav, are ready to join BJP. BJP already has its own party for the upcoming elections and now Rashtriya Lok Dal and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party have also almost joined the NDA. In such a situation, BJP has also decided the formula of seat sharing with everyone. However, its official announcement is yet to be made.
2019 Lok Sabha Elections BJP had contested 78 out of 80 seats. Of these, he had won 62. Apna Dal had fielded its candidates on two seats and both its candidates were successful in winning. In such a situation, BJP will now face the challenge of reducing its seats and giving a chance to the candidates of RLD and Suheldev Rashtriya Samaj Party.
Jayant Chaudhary is asking for two seats
Jayant Chaudhary’s party Rashtriya Lok Dal is dominant in western UP. In such a situation, Jayant Chaudhary can field his candidate from Baghpat and Bijnor seats. Earlier there were reports that BJP may give Kairana, Baghpat, Mathura and Amroha Lok Sabha seats to Rashtriya Lok Dal. However, later it also came to light that three candidates would contest the elections on the election symbol of Rashtriya Lok Dal. However, one candidate will be from BJP. The alliance of Rashtriya Lok Dal and Samajwadi Party has broken only over Muzaffarnagar seat.
OP Rajbhar wants three seats
OP Rajbhar wants to field his candidates on three seats. According to the claim, he can field his candidates on any three seats of Ghosi, Salempur, Lalganj and Azamgarh. Suheldev Samaj Party has six MLAs in UP and they are likely to get only one seat. If the second seat is given to him, then his candidate will have to contest the election on BJP’s election symbol. At the same time, the only candidate of Nishad Party may have to contest elections on BJP ticket this time too like last time.
